Job Description

The Account Manager – Government Sector is responsible for managing and developing relationships with government clients while supporting their digital transformation initiatives through ZainTECH’s portfolio of ICT and digital solutions. The role focuses on maintaining strong client relationships, identifying growth opportunities, and ensuring the successful delivery of technology solutions including cloud, cybersecurity, data, and digital services.Working closely with internal technical, product, and delivery teams, the Account Manager ensures that client needs are addressed effectively while contributing to revenue growth, customer satisfaction, and long-term account development within the government sector.ResponsibilitiesAccount ManagementManage relationships with assigned government sector clients, acting as a key point of contact for account-related activitiesBuild strong relationships with client stakeholders and understand their business objectives and technology requirementsConduct regular account reviews to assess solution performance, identify improvement opportunities, and ensure customer satisfactionMonitor client engagement and proactively manage contract renewals and ongoing service requirementsICT & Digital Solutions AdvisoryDevelop a strong understanding of ZainTECH’s technology portfolio, including cloud services, cybersecurity, data solutions, and digital platformsWork with clients to identify opportunities where ICT and digital solutions can support operational improvements and digital transformation goalsCollaborate with internal technical teams to design and present relevant solutions to meet client needsBusiness DevelopmentIdentify and pursue opportunities to expand services within existing government accountsSupport the development of account plans to drive revenue growth and increase solution adoptionParticipate in the preparation and presentation of proposals, tenders, and solution recommendationsSupport pipeline development through engagement with new government entities or departmentsCollaboration & Devliery CoordinationCoordinate with internal teams including sales, technical, product, and delivery teams to ensure successful project executionTrack and manage sales opportunities through CRM systems and maintain accurate account recordsEnsure smooth communication between internal stakeholders and client teamsQualifications4–6 years of experience in account management, sales, or business development within ICT, cloud, or technology-related industriesExperience working with government or public sector clients is highly preferredSolid understanding of ICT and digital solutions including cloud computing, cybersecurity, and digital platformsAbility to understand client challenges and align technology solutions with business needsStrong communication, presentation, and relationship management skillsAbility to manage multiple client engagements and coordinate internal teams effectivelySelf-motivated with a proactive approach to account development and opportunity managementBachelor’s degree in Business, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related fieldFamiliarity with CRM tools such as Salesforce is an advantage#J-18808-Ljbffr
