Agile Project Manager (EDW)

OverviewWe are seeking a seasoned Agile Project Manager to lead the end-to-end implementation of Enterprise Data Warehouse (EDW) projects. The ideal candidate will bridge the gap between complex data engineering and business strategy, managing high-stakes delivery within the banking sector. You will be responsible for navigating the full data lifecycle, from ingestion to advanced visualization, while maintaining strict financial and dependency controls.ResponsibilitiesAgile Delivery & Governance: Lead end-to-end implementation of Enterprise Data Warehouse projects using Agile methodologies. Facilitate all Scrum ceremonies (Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Planning, Reviews, and Retrospectives). Manage and track project budgets, ensuring financial transparency and ROI. Identify, track, and mitigate cross-team dependencies and technical blockers.Technical Project Oversight: Supervise data management workflows and the end-to-end data lifecycle within the EDW. Oversee development efforts involving PySpark or the Informatica Suite (BDM). Manage projects hosted on the Cloudera Data Platform (CDP). Drive the delivery of actionable insights through visualization tools like Tableau or Power BI.Strategic Alignment (Good to Have): Manage specialized projects involving AI, Machine Learning, and Advanced Analytics. Oversee the development of Python-based data models for Risk, Finance, Retail, and Corporate business units. Implement and monitor Data Governance frameworks across the organizational data landscape.Core CompetenciesBehavioural Drives High Performance: Sets clear, challenging goals for the squad and ensures efficient, on-time delivery of data increments.Stakeholder Management: Maintains professional relationships with banking stakeholders, ensuring alignment between IT and business units.Agility & Innovation: Adapts quickly to changing regulatory requirements or shifting business priorities in the financial sector.Technical (Must Have) EDW Expertise: Proven track record in Banking/Financial domain data projects.Tools: Deep familiarity with PySpark, Informatica BDM, and Cloudera (CDP).Agile Metrics: Expert in tracking Velocity, Burn-down charts, and Capacity planning.Qualifications & ExperienceEducation: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in CS, IT, Data Science, or Finance.Experience: Minimum 5 years of specific Agile Project Management experience.Certification: PMP, CSM, or SAFe certification is highly desirable.#J-18808-Ljbffr
