OverviewJob Title: Agricultural EngineerLocation: Ajman UAEJob Summary: We are looking for a talented Agricultural Engineer to join our team in Ajman. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing and improving farming techniques, irrigation systems and agricultural machinery to enhance productivity and sustainability. This role focuses on optimizing soil management, crop production and integrating cutting-edge farming technologies to streamline agricultural operations.Key RequirementsExperience in the UAE market particularly in agriculture products.Hands-on experience with seed field trials.Responsibilities1. Farm Management & Development: Design and implement efficient irrigation and drainage systems to optimize water usage.Develop strategies to improve soil fertility and boost crop yields.Advise on the best farming machinery and techniques tailored to specific farm needs.2. Agricultural Machinery & Equipment: Oversee the installation, maintenance and repair of agricultural machinery.Ensure compliance with safety standards and environmental regulations.Continuously evaluate and improve the performance of agricultural tools and machinery.3. Soil & Water Management: Conduct soil tests and recommend fertilizers or organic treatments to enhance soil health.Develop sustainable irrigation systems to minimize water wastage.Implement soil conservation techniques to prevent erosion and improve soil quality.4. Research & Innovation: Stay abreast of the latest agricultural trends and integrate modern technologies into farming practices.Develop and promote eco-friendly and cost-effective farming methods.Conduct experiments with new farming techniques to increase crop productivity and sustainability.5. Project Planning & Supervision: Plan and supervise agricultural construction projects such as greenhouses, barns and irrigation systems.Train farm staff and laborers on modern agricultural practices and technologies.Monitor project progress, identify areas for improvement and ensure successful implementation.QualificationsBachelors degree in Agricultural Engineering or a related field.Proven experience in farm management, irrigation systems and agricultural machinery.Strong knowledge of modern farming techniques and sustainable agricultural practices.Proficiency in agricultural software and machinery operation.Strong analytical, problem-solving and communication skills.Ability to work in outdoor conditions and adapt to various weather conditions.Salary & BenefitsSalary: AED 4000 to AED 6000 per monthJob Type: Full-time Contract 12-month contractLanguages: Fluency in English (Arabic will be an added advantage)#J-18808-Ljbffr
