About the job Aircraft Engineer - B1 LicensedAbout the RoleWe are seeking an experienced B1 Licensed Aircraft Engineer to join a high-performing maintenance team supporting a fleet of business and corporate aircraft in Abu Dhabi.This role is responsible for delivering both scheduled and unscheduled maintenance, ensuring aircraft are maintained and released to service to the highest standards of safety, compliance, and reliability.You will play a key part in aircraft dispatch, defect rectification, and technical leadership both at base and during AOG/outstation support.Key ResponsibilitiesAircraft Maintenance & CertificationCarry out scheduled and unscheduled maintenance activitiesPerform inspections, troubleshooting, defect rectification, and modificationsConduct component removals/installations and routine servicingComplete pre-departure and post-arrival checksCertify aircraft in accordance with licence privileges and regulatory approvalsEnsure all work is completed in line with current maintenance manuals and technical instructionsOperational SupportSupport line maintenance and aircraft dispatch to ensure on-time operationsMonitor deferred defects (DDL/MEL items) and coordinate timely rectificationArrange required spares, tooling, and resourcesProvide real-time serviceability updates to Operations and Maintenance ControlHighlight any technical risks or potential service disruptionsSupervise and guide maintenance staff during shiftsAllocate tasks and set priorities to ensure safe and efficient operationsEnsure adherence to all technical, safety, and quality proceduresSupport aircraft when operating away from base, including AOG situationsCompliance & DocumentationComplete all maintenance documentation and certifications accurately and on timeEnsure full compliance with MOE/LPM and local aviation authority regulationsFollow all safety, health, and environmental standardsRequirementsValid UAE GCAA B1 License (no limitations)Type rating on A320 Family (CFM56) and/or Gulfstream G450Minimum 10 years aircraft maintenance experienceAt least 3–5 years as a Licensed Aircraft EngineerStrong working knowledge of GCAA / EASA / FAA regulationsAbility to work independently at outstations and during AOG supportExperience in VIP, business aviation, or corporate aircraft environmentsBackground within a large carrier or maintenance organisationStrong troubleshooting and fault-finding skillsLeadership and team supervision experienceWhat We OfferCompetitive tax-free UAE salaryExposure to modern aircraft and a professional maintenance environmentOpportunities for travel and outstation supportCareer progression within a growing aviation operation#J-18808-Ljbffr
