About the job Airport Duty Officer - UAENJob PurposePurpose of the job is to monitor airside facilities are maintained at highest state of serviceability and audit airside activities to ensure safe and efficient aircraft operation in Ras Al Khaimah International Airport.Functional Accountabilities-Area of Contribution-Key ActivitiesADP training to external stakeholdersProcessConduct movement area inspections.Provide follow-me service to aircraft/vehicles.Conduct aircraft turnaround audit.Facilitate work services in the airside.Enforce safety regulations in the airside.Provide ADP training.Maintain surveillance on all airside movements(vehicle/aircraft/personal) Maintain up to date departmental records/documents.Preliminary investigation of accident/incidentWildlife managementCustomer and ReportingCommunication & Working RelationshipsInternalWith all department Managers and HeadsReasons for InteractionCoordination for efficient airside operationExternalCustoms, Immigration, Airport security department, Federal police, Airline engineers, Air traffic control, National ambulance, Wildlife control. Pilots. Meteorological Department, ADNOC, DCA PRO, and Alpha Catering. VIP/ Airport VisitorsReasons for InteractionFor safe and efficient conduct of airside operationsEducational QualificationsGraduationProfessional QualificationsMust have exceptional communication skills to effectively communicate with all Customers and stakeholders, senior management, government agencies, emergency Services to ensure that the operational plans and activities are executed efficiently and effectively.Must have knowledge in:Sound knowledge in GCAA regulations.Certification in airside operation managementSafety Management System (SMS)Health & Safety RegulationsAirport emergency plansAccident and incident investigationAirside standard operating proceduresBasic audit skillsRequired ExperienceMinimum five years of experience in airside operations managementOther Requirements- Safety accountability and responsibilitiesAll staff has the following safety responsibilities and is accountable to their supervisor(s) and Head of Department:To comply with the relevant safety requirements and procedures outlined in the Aerodrome Operations Manual and Safety Management System and any other instructions or notices issued by Ras Al Khaimah International Airport.To comply with the safety requirements detailed within their training.To advise their Head of Department and the Airport Duty Officer team of any safety occurrence or system failure and to identify and report any situation of potential risk or concern affecting safety via one of the following means.Report directly to the Safety Department or an immediate supervisor.Submitting a preliminary Accident/ Incident Report.Support safety audits as and investigations as they occur.Competencies-Level of ProficiencyInitiative & Problem Solving: HighMicrosoft office Applications: HighSound knowledge in GCAA regulations: HighSafety Management System (SMS): HighHealth & Safety Regulations: HighAirport emergency plans: HighAccident and incident investigation: HighAirside standard operating procedures: High#J-18808-Ljbffr
