(AICI-SP) is seeking a TSS Support Specialist to work overseas on a U.S. Embassy project in Doha, Qatar. In this role, you will assist in the installation, service, and maintenance of microwave sensor, Fence Protection systems, alarm systems, and CCTV ensuring the safety and security of our client’s premises while learning from experienced technicians.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESAssist in the installation and configuration of alarm systems, including intrusion detection (fence protection), access control, security cameras, microwaves, monitoring systems and CINCH system.Conduct routine maintenance and troubleshooting on existing security systems to ensure optimal functionalityParticipate in site inspections to assess client needs and recommend appropriate security solutionsDocument service activities and maintain accurate records of installations and repairsOther duties as directed by the Electrical Superintendent, Project Engineer, or Project ManagerKNOWLEDGE, EXPERIENCE AND SPECIAL SKILLS REQUIREDActive U.S. Secret Security Clearance (must be authorized to work in the U.S.)High school diploma or equivalentBasic understanding of electrical systems and circuitryDesire to learn about alarm technology and security systemsStrong attention to detail and ability to follow technical instructionsUnderstanding of alarm system components, including sensors, control panels, microwave, fence protection, and communication devicesAbility to work with hand tools and diagnostic equipmentFamiliarity with software used for alarm system configuration and monitoringExcellent communication skills, both verbal and writtenA proactive attitude with a willingness to learn and grow within the roleStrong customer service orientation and the ability to work well in a team environmentEffective time management skills and the ability to handle multiple tasksPREFERRED EXPERIENCEInternational construction industry experience interacting with various diverse culturesPrevious U.S. Government construction project experienceOverseas Building Operations (OBO) experienceExperience in a technical or hands-on role, preferably in the security or electronics fieldFamiliarity with common alarm systems and troubleshooting techniquesBasic knowledge of networking principles and IP-based security systemsPHYSICAL, MENTAL AND ENVIRONMENTAL DEMANDSThe demands described here are not exhaustive, but are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of the job.
