App Content Specialist - Tamheer Program

OverviewJoin Nice One as an App Content Specialist in the Tamheer Program to support app content creation, localization, and quality assurance. This role is open to all candidates and supports diversity and inclusion. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, creative, and eager to learn within a structured internship-style development program.ResponsibilitiesWrite, edit, and proofread app text including onboarding flows, notifications, help articles, microcopy, and UI labels to ensure clarity, consistency, and user-friendliness.Localize and adapt content for Arabic-speaking users while coordinating with translators and reviewers to maintain tone and cultural relevance.Collaborate with product, design, and engineering teams to ensure content fits UI constraints and supports product goals and user journeys.Maintain content style guides, glossaries, and naming conventions to ensure consistent language across the app and related communications.Perform content QA by reviewing in-app text for accuracy, typos, broken links, and contextual errors before and after releases.Use content management tools, spreadsheets, and simple tracking systems to log changes, manage iterations, and report on outstanding issues.Collect user feedback and report recurring content problems or improvement opportunities to the content lead.Participate in Tamheer Program learning activities, training sessions, and mentorship meetings to develop communication and product skills.Qualifications and SkillsHigh school diploma or equivalent; current students or recent graduates in communication, translation, linguistics, mass communication, or related fields are encouraged to apply.Excellent written and verbal communication skills in Arabic; English proficiency is an advantage.Strong attention to detail, grammar, and tone; ability to adapt language for different audiences and microcopy contexts.Comfortable using basic content tools such as Google Workspace, spreadsheets, and simple CMS or localization platforms; training will be provided.Basic understanding of UX principles and an interest in how content supports usability and product goals.Ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional team and accept feedback as part of ongoing learning.Previous internship, volunteer, or freelance writing experience is a plus but not required; motivated beginners welcome.Personal AttributesCurious and eager to learn about product design, localization, and user communication.Organized and punctual, with the ability to manage multiple small tasks and meet deadlines.Receptive to feedback and committed to continuous improvement.Respectful communicator who contributes positively to team dynamics and an inclusive workplace.Problem-solving mindset with attention to detail and a focus on delivering clear user value through content.Benefits And Program ConditionsTamheer Program placement with a structured learning plan, mentorship, and on-the-job training at no cost to participants.Stipend or program-appropriate compensation and recognition for successful completion of the Tamheer placement, aligned with local regulations.Hands-on experience collaborating with product, design, and engineering teams in a fast-paced app environment.Opportunities for career development within Nice One based on performance and demonstrated growth during the program.An inclusive workplace that values diversity and equal opportunity for all applicants.How to ApplyStart your Tamheer journey with Nice One by submitting your CV through our online recruitment portal.
