About the job Applications Development Consultant (SAP PO) Job Purpose:Performs the programming, design, deployment and maintenance of SAP PO solutions. This resource will provide subject matter expertise of the PO toolset and related technologies.Tasks and duties:Possess a solid understanding of PO technical design and infrastructureProficient in developing design-time artifacts (data types, mappings, service interfaces, etc.), modeling business processes and configuring routing rules (Integration Flows), with expertise in the areas belowPractical experience with SAP PO 7.5NetWeaver Developer StudioStandard SAP Adapters, 3rd party librariesExperience with ESR configuration and modelingABAP Proxy and related configurationWeb services, WSDL, XML, XSDFamiliarity with NWDI (DTR, CBS and CMS)Familiarity with GitHubCTSPO testing, administration and monitoringBPM (configuring, process modeling, monitoring)Facilitate requirements gatheringCreate and maintain technical specification/design documentsPerform PO troubleshooting, analysis, exception handling and reprocessing as needed to maintain reliable day-to-day operationsPerform performance analysis and tuning of PO components and interfacesEstablish PO standards, best practices and strategy for the best use of the PO toolsetLead team learning sessions to promote knowledge transferPerform related duties as assignedComplete special projects and other duties as assignedExperience with BTP Workflow Management, SAP Build Process Automation, SAP Cloud Application Programming Model (CAP), SAP Integration SuitePerform investigation and resolution on production incidentsQualifications and skills:Bachelors degree in Computer Science or equivalentMinimum of 5 years of experience in PI/PO development, environment administration and support on 7.5 releasesExperience in requirements gathering, graphical mapping and documenting technical designsExpertise in PO message mapping techniques, monitoring tools, caches, transports, OSS Notes and their application to the SAP landscapeExpertise designing integration content in the Enterprise Services RepositoryExpertise configuring integration content in the Integration DirectorySolid understanding of the System Landscape DirectoryExpertise in data element types and various file formats (CSV, XML, etc.)Expertise in data transmission methods (FTP, sFTP, AS2, etc.)Solid database development skills including knowledge of SQL, Oracle and table designWorking knowledge of Web Services, RFC, and data exchange via IdocExpertise with ECMStrong knowledge of Java, JDBC and JPAStrong knowledge of WebDynpro Java, Visual Composer and SAP UI5Strong knowledge of BRM
