We’re on a mission to help enterprises transform expert knowledge into specialized AI at scale, empowering scientists, engineers, financial experts, product creators, journalists and more to build custom AI with their data faster than ever before.</p><h3>Main Responsibilities</h3><ul><li>Partner with customers to design, develop and deploy impactful Gen AI and machine learning solutions—from scoping and data exploration to model development and production.</li><li>Implement state‑of‑the‑art AI systems such as retrieval‑augmented generation, fine‑tuning pipelines, prompt‑engineering recipes and agentic workflows.</li><li>Create augmented datasets and evaluation workflows to ensure model reliability, transparency and stakeholder trust.</li><li>Build and nurture relationships with customer leadership to coordinate project delivery and promote Snorkel Flow usage.</li><li>Collaborate with pre‑sales, solutions and product teams to map customer needs to existing capabilities, prioritize roadmap gaps and guide project setup.</li><li>Standardize solutions across Applied AI Engineers and contribute to internal tooling and best practices.</li><li>Educate stakeholders on quantitative capabilities, best‑practice approaches and optimal problem fits.</li><li>Advocate for customers’ needs in new AI paradigms and convey this feedback to product teams.</li><li>Conduct enablement workshops for customers via one‑to‑one or one‑to‑many sessions.</li><li>Travel up to 25% annually to support client engagements.</li></ul><h3>Preferred Qualifications</h3><ul><li>B.S. in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics or a comparable field.</li><li>3+ years of customer‑facing experience building AI/ML solutions.</li><li>Strong proficiency in Python with experience in modern libraries (pydantic, mypy, pytest, poetry, FastAPI, msgspec, Ray, Airflow).</li><li>Expertise across the Applied AI stack, including scikit‑learn, PyTorch, Hugging Face Transformers, FAISS, pandas, Spark, Chroma, Weaviate, LlamaIndex, LangGraph and CrewAI.</li><li>Track record of leading strategic, customer‑facing initiatives that drive business outcomes.</li><li>Excellent presentation skills for technical and executive audiences.</li><li>Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced environment while balancing multiple projects.</li></ul><h3>Compensation</h3><p>All offers include base salary, variable compensation and equity via employee stock options.
