Job Description

Job PurposeThe Architect plays a key role in bringing our brands to life across new store developments, renovations, and retrofit projects. This role translates business needs and brand standards into spaces that are visually compelling, practical, compliant, and aligned with the intended customer experience.Working across the full architectural journey, from concept through to construction, the Architect combines design thinking, technical expertise, and stakeholder collaboration to deliver environments that meet both operational and commercial goals. Each project is an opportunity to enhance the guest experience while ensuring delivery on time, within budget, and in line with regulatory and brand expectations.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop architectural design solutions for new store developments, renovations, remodels, and retrofit projects across multiple F&B and retail brandsTranslate business requirements and brand standards into functional layouts, demarcation plans, and design documentationConduct site visits and prepare measured survey drawings to support design development and project scopingProduce accurate drawings ensuring compliance with brand guidelines, local regulations, safety standards, accessibility requirements, and MEP coordinationCollaborate with internal stakeholders and coordinate with external partners to ensure alignment and deliveryManage multiple design tasks and ensure timely delivery in line with budgets, timelines, and SLAsUtilize architectural software (AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, Rhino, 3ds Max) to develop design outputsTrack project progress and maintain updates through PMO toolsApply design-led problem-solving to improve functionality, efficiency, and user experiencePropose value engineering solutions to optimize costs while maintaining design qualityEnsure design outcomes align with business, operational, and commercial requirementsSupport construction activities through design clarifications, adjustments, and material reviewsIdentify opportunities to enhance guest and customer experience through effective spatial planningStay updated on industry trends, building regulations, and design technologiesEducation and ExperienceBachelor’s Degree in Architecture is required; Master’s is an advantage3–5 years of experience as an Architect or Architectural DesignerExperience in retail, hospitality, F&B, or commercial store designStrong exposure to store layouts, customer flow, and space optimizationKnowledge of building regulations, safety standards, and construction practicesExperience working across multiple projects with cross-functional stakeholdersSkills and CompetenciesStrong architectural design and space planning capabilityProficiency in industry-standard design tools (AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, etc.)Solid understanding of building codes, materials, and construction methodsEffective communication and stakeholder coordinationStrong organization, prioritization, and attention to detailProblem-solving mindset with sound judgmentAbility to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environmentCommercial awareness in delivering practical and cost-effective solutions#J-18808-Ljbffr
