ARCHITECTURAL JOINERY DRAFTSMAN

PURPOSE OF THE JOBThe purpose of the job of a Joinery Draftsman is to create detailed technical drawings and plans for joinery projects, ensuring that all designs meet project specifications, industry standards, and client requirements.JOB RESPONSIBILITIESPrepare detailed joinery shop drawings for various projects including residential, commercial.Develop 2D and 3D CAD drawings based on specifications and project requirements.Coordinate with project managers, architects, and engineers to understand project scope and requirements.Ensure that all drawings comply with industry standards and project specifications.Revise drawings as needed based on feedback and changes in project scope.Prepare material take-offs and assist in the preparation of bill of materials.Conduct site visits to gather measurements and understand site conditions.Collaborate with the production team to ensure accuracy and quality of the joinery items.Maintain and update drawing files and documentation.Assist in the preparation of design presentations and client meetings.KEY QUALIFICATIONSDiploma or degree in Architectural Drafting, Interior Design, or related field.Minimum of 3-5 years of experience as a Joinery Draftsman in the Gulf countries.Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and other relevant drafting software.Strong understanding of joinery construction methods and materials.Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.Ability to read and interpret architectural and engineering drawings.Good communication and teamwork skills.Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.Knowledge of local building codes and regulations in the UAE.Vertical: Digital Engineering#J-18808-Ljbffr
