Job Description

OverviewWe are recruiting for an Assistant Manager Employee Relations who will play a crucial role in maintaining positive workplace relations, resolving employee concerns, and developing engagement initiatives. The ideal candidate will be a strong communicator with excellent conflict resolution skills and the ability to handle sensitive employee matters with discretion and professionalism.Key ResponsibilitiesManage employee relations issues and guide line managersHandle grievances, disciplinary matters, and conflict resolutionConduct exit interviews and analyse trends to improve retentionDevelop and implement employee engagement initiativesEnsure compliance with UAE labour laws and company policiesProvide advice on performance management processesSupport organisational change initiativesCollaborate with other HR functions to ensure a consistent employee experiencePrepare reports and presentations for senior managementAct as a trusted advisor to employees and management on workplace relationsQualifications & RequirementsUAE NationalBachelors degree in HR, Business Administration, or related field3-5 years of relevant experience in employee relationsStrong knowledge of UAE labour laws and regulationsExperience in handling complex employee relations casesProven track record in developing employee engagement strategiesExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsStrong analytical and problem-solving abilitiesAbility to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive informationSkills & CompetenciesAssertive and confident communication styleConflict resolution and mediation skillsEmotional intelligence and empathyAbility to influence at all levels of the organisationStrong presentation and facilitation skillsAnalytical thinking and decision-making abilitiesAttention to detail and accuracyStrategic thinking and planningResilience and the ability to work under pressureCareer Growth & DevelopmentThis role offers significant strategic exposure and the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on organisational culture and employee experience.
