Assistant Professor of Information TechnologyUnited Arab Emirates UniversityUnited Arab EmiratesJob DescriptionThe College of Information Technology (CIT), UAE University is looking to hire a faculty member in Cybersecurity/Quantum Resistance Systems to further strengthen its current research programs and create new multidisciplinary research initiatives and partnerships, across and beyond the university campus, critical to its long-term stability and growth.About the Position: We seek a faculty candidate with strong research records in Cybersecurity and Quantum Computing related areas. Successful candidates are expected to complement and enhance current research at the College and contribute to the teaching of both undergraduate and graduate courses across programs.Candidates’ Qualifications: Candidates must hold a Ph.D. degree in Cybersecurity or related areas from a reputable university. In addition, candidates must demonstrate:An established record of discipline specific research publications in Q1 journals and top conferences.Experience writing and securing research grantsEvidence of excellence in teaching and student supervision at the undergraduate and graduate levels.Ability to work collaboratively with faculty across multiple departments and programs.Only short-listed candidates will be contacted for interviews.
