Join us and help run what runs the world.This position reports toPrincipal Project EngineerYour roleIn this role, you will have the opportunity to support engineering activities in all types of project sizes and complexities, under the supervision of senior engineers. Each day, you will complete the tasks cost-effectively and in accordance with contract specifications, quality standards, safety requirements, and cybersecurity policies and standards. You will also showcase your expertise by collecting data and supporting production of the engineering design.The work model for the role is: onsite.The role is contributing to Automation - Energy Industries in Abu Dhabi, UAE.Main stakeholders are customers, contractors, suppliers, project managers, and engineering colleagues within ABB.AccountabilitiesPerforming survey work, standard computations, analysis, and basic design tasks.Exercising judgment on limited details of work and on application of standard methods and preparing project documentation within your scope of deliverables.Assisting customers on technical issues and interacting with official contacts, contractors, and other staff within your scope of deliverables.Supporting communication pertaining to specific assignments or meetings.Participating in workshops related to engineering design, tools, and processes.Coordinates and performs with Commissioning / Service functions to ensure the designs are appropriately installed and commissioned (if applicable as part of the contract).Updates the engineering deliverables post installation & commissioning (if applicable).What It Takes To Run What Runs The WorldYou have a basic understanding of Automation systems.You are a Team player and passionate about problem-solving.You are passionate about customer collaboration and have good communication skills.Degree in Engineering.You are at ease communicating in English and Arabic with internal teams, customers, and external stakeholders.0-2 years of related experience.What's in it for you?We want you to bring your full self to work—your ideas, your energy, your ambition.
