The ideal candidate will have a strong background in bridge design management and site operations. The Resident Engineer will be responsible for overseeing the contractors progress onsite ensuring design compliance coordinating with the design team and managing site activities in alignment with client expectations. This role demands a dynamic assertive leader capable of managing a challenging contractor environment with a deep understanding of local regulations and authorities requirements.Key ResponsibilitiesAct as the Resident Engineer onsite providing technical leadership and ensuring all aspects of the project are completed in accordance with project plans specifications and safety standards.Oversee the contractors transportation design team to ensure timely progress quality and alignment with project requirements.Coordinate closely with AtkinsRalis internal design team to ensure designs are accurately implemented and address any designrelated issues onsite.Monitor and supervise all construction activities related to the transportation work ensuring adherence to quality safety and compliance standards.Ensure that all work complies with local regulations standards and the requirements set forth by AD authorities.Manage daily site operations ensuring project milestones are met on time and within budget.Develop review and maintain comprehensive site documentation including progress reports quality control documentation and safety records.Enforce strict quality assurance and control measures to maintain the highest standards of construction onsite.Manage site safety protocols ensuring that all safety measures are observed and reporting any safety concerns promptly.Provide regular updates to the client (Aldar) and project stakeholders on project progress risks and issues.Proactively identify and resolve potential problems or delays providing technical solutions and corrective actions as needed.Manage the flow of information between the contractor client and design teams ensuring all parties are wellinformed.Required Qualifications & ExperienceA minimum of 10 years of experience in civil engineering with a focus on Transportation design and construction.Significant experience in managing largescale transportation projects particularly metro with an emphasis on Design & Build (D&B) delivery.Proven experience as a Resident Engineer with a strong track record of overseeing site operations and managing contractors.Experience in managing and coordinating the contractors design team ensuring progress and quality of deliverables.Strong background in construction site supervision risk management quality control and safety compliance.Excellent leadership communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to manage challenging contractor relationships effectively.Must have worked on transportation projects.Desired Skills & AttributesDynamic and assertive personality able to manage difficult contractor relationships while maintaining professionalism and project focus.Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks and deadlines.Excellent problemsolving abilities and the capacity to make informed decisions under pressure.Highly proficient in technical site management ensuring all works are compliant with the highest engineering standards.Ability to effectively communicate with clients contractors and stakeholders at all levels of the project.Why choose AtkinsRalisTaxfree salary.Life insurance coverage.Comprehensive medical insurance coverage.Paid Annual leave.Company gratuity scheme.Discretionary bonus program.Annual flight contribution.Transportation & housing allowances.Employee Wellbeing Program: 24/7 access to specialists in finance legal matters family care as well as personal health fitness and nutrition consulting.Equality & DiversityAtkinsRalis is committed to eliminating discrimination and enco
