Audio-Visual Specialist

Position: Audio-Visual Specialist Location: Ras Al Khaimah UAE Employment type: Full-time Remuneration: Base salary DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Install and test new broadcasting and AV equipmentPerform advanced crimping on various connectors including BNC Micro BNC RJ45 and XLRConfigure and maintain AV broadcast and IT network systems including star network setupsSet up and maintain equipment for virtual studio productionOperate and monitor AV links between units and during outside broadcastsSet up and operate transmission links and AV circuits for live and recorded productionsTroubleshoot and repair faults in systems and equipment to minimize downtimeDesign and manufacture custom hardware and AV systemsInterpret instructions from product owners and directors to ensure technical alignment with creative goalsEnsure compliance with best practices in workplace health and safetyStay updated with industry trends and emerging technologies through research and professional networksCommunicate effectively with internal teams and cross-functional colleagues. REQUIREMENTS: Fluent in English with strong proficiency in both written and spoken communicationIn-depth knowledge of photography principles (aperture shutter speed ISO exposure lenses)Strong technical expertise with professional cameras and AV systemsExperience in electronic engineering and communication equipmentProficient in operating video cameras and production video switchersHands-on experience with live chroma keying and SDI infrastructureGood color vision and hearing for audiovisual precisionExcellent IT skills and project management capabilitiesStrong fault-finding and creative problem-solving abilitiesTeam-oriented mindset with solid interpersonal and communication skills.
