We want to hear that magical<strong>"wow!"</strong>from our customers.</p><p>As Pyypl continues to scale, we are looking for a<strong>Backend Developer</strong>to join us on our next big growth phase!</p><div><strong><span>WHAT WILL YOU BE DOING?</span></strong></div><ul><li>Collaborate with a dynamic team to design, develop, and implement robust backend solutions.</li><li>Build, optimize, and maintain efficient and scalable backend systems that meet performance and quality standards.</li><li>Contribute to continuous improvement by actively participating in code reviews, pair programming, and knowledge sharing.</li><li>Develop, maintain, and improve documentation for both code and processes to ensure smooth collaboration within the team.</li><li>Proactively identify bottlenecks, bugs, and performance issues, and devise solutions to these problems.</li></ul><div><strong><span>WHAT DO YOU NEED TO BE SUCCESSFUL IN THIS POSITION?</span></strong></div><ul><li>Degree in Computer Science or Information Technology - Hold a BS or MSc. degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or an equivalent industry qualification.</li><li>Have at least 5+ years of backend development experience in cloud or non-cloud systems with 3 years as a Senior.</li><li>Passion for Products - Show a genuine compassion for products and software.</li><li>Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment - Have some experience setting up CI/CD pipelines for backend systems.</li><li>Excellent Communication - Possess excellent communication skills and a willingness to build new teams and create new organizational structures in the start-up ecosystem.</li><li>Some basic familiarity with functional programming, node/typescript, or DevOps.</li><li>Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues.</li><li>Familiarity with AWS Lambdas and serverless technologies</li><li>Familiarity with AWS CloudFormation</li><li>A strong Testing and QA mindset, curiosity to understand the big picture and end-to-end workflows, and desire to improve all the internal processes</li><li>Demonstrated ability to analyze business requirements and translate them into effective technical solutions.</li><li>Strong understanding of secure coding practices and the ability to identify and mitigate security vulnerabilities.</li><li>Proven experience collaborating with security teams and communicating security-related findings to development teams.</li></ul><div><strong><span><strong><span>BENEFITS</span></strong></span></strong></div><p>At Pyypl, we don’t just offer jobs but careers.
