Backend Engineer

OverviewAbout the RoleWe're looking for an experienced Backend Engineer to help build and scale our AI-powered interview platform. You'll work on designing and implementing robust APIs, optimizing database performance, and integrating with various AI services.ResponsibilitiesDesign and develop scalable backend services and APIsBuild and optimize database schemas and queriesIntegrate with third-party AI services (OpenAI, speech services, etc.)Implement authentication, authorization, and security best practicesWrite clean, maintainable, and well-tested codeCollaborate with frontend and AI teams to deliver featuresMonitor and optimize system performanceQualifications3+ years of backend development experienceStrong proficiency in Python and FastAPI (or similar frameworks)Experience with PostgreSQL and SQL optimizationKnowledge of RESTful API design and best practicesFamiliarity with Docker and cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure)Understanding of authentication/authorization (OAuth, JWT)Experience with asynchronous programmingStrong problem-solving and debugging skillsNice to HaveExperience with AI/ML services and APIsKnowledge of vector databases (pgvector, Pinecone, etc.)Experience with real-time communication (WebRTC, WebSockets)Familiarity with payment processing (Stripe)Contributions to open-source projectsFull Time Software Development Full Stack Python Backend Engineer#J-18808-Ljbffr
