The role focuses on defining, documenting, and governing APIs across their full lifecycle—from ideation and design through build, publication, versioning, and retirement—ensuring consistency, usability, security, and alignment with business objectives.Key ResponsibilitiesElicit, analyze, and document business and functional requirements for APIs and API platformsDefine API use cases, consumer journeys, and business flowsCollaborate with architects and engineering teams on API design standards, contracts, and specifications (OpenAPI/Swagger)Support API lifecycle stages (Ideation, Design & Review, Testing, Publication & Onboarding, Versioning)Produce high-quality documentation including BRDs, Functional Specifications and Consumer DocumentationWork with governance teams to ensure APIs meet security, compliance, and regulatory requirementsCoordinate with internal and external API consumers to capture feedback and improve usabilitySupport API change management, impact analysis, and release communicationAct as a bridge between business, product, and technology teamsRequired Skills & Experience5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst in technology-driven environmentsStrong hands‑on experience with API‑based architectures and integration conceptsSolid understanding of API lifecycle management and API governanceExperience working with REST APIs, JSON, HTTP, OAuth2, and related standardsFamiliarity with API tools and platformsStrong documentation skills with attention to clarity and structureExperience working in Agile / Scrum delivery modelsExcellent stakeholder management and communication skillsNice to HaveExperience in payments, banking, or financial servicesKnowledge of event‑driven architectures and async APIsExposure to developer portals and API monetization modelsConsulting or platform transformation experienceEducationBachelor’s degree in engineering, Computer Science, Business, or a related fieldWhat Success Looks LikeAPIs are clearly defined, well‑documented, and easy to consumeReduced rework due to clear requirements and governanceStrong alignment between business needs and technical implementationPositive feedback from API consumers and platform teamsWhat we offerWe put you in control of careerWe give you a competitive packageWe help you perform at your bestWe help you make a differenceWe give you the freedom to be yourself#J-18808-Ljbffr
