Job Description

ResponsibilitiesTo improve GSD market position and achieve financial growth by building key customer relationships, identifying business opportunities, negotiating and closing business deals, identifying potential vendors and suppliers, and maintaining extensive knowledge of market conditions.Identify areas for expansion and development.Work with the business development manager to identify and evaluate new markets and implement new business strategies to achieve regional growth.Generate sales leads and identify and evaluate new profitable business opportunities.Identifying gaps in GSD products' offerings and negotiating representation agreements.Efficiently retain periodic contact and relations with identified prospects and leads.Product development, certification and support initiatives.Initiate and complete proposals and presentations for new business opportunities.Educate potential customers on new areas of opportunities for our products.Achieve targets and lead the team to achieve the team target.Implement joint go-to-market plans with vendors to maximise marketing and sales effectiveness.Act as the focal contact point between GSD and new vendors.Issue regular pipeline and sales status reports concerning new vendors to monitor performance.Keep an eye on the competition (pricing / capabilities / weaknesses).Under the supervision of the BDM, arrange for required marketing events, technical sessions, and seminars for the products inside and outside the company.Arrange for liaison with the customer's focal point should the vendor ask for customer follow-up and a satisfaction report, and inform the sales and product teams before such action.Conduct periodic status meetings with the Sales & Products teams to represent status, deviation and how to get back to the original plan.Have technical overview knowledge of the selected different products, enhanced through attending (with the products team) regular technical training sessions offered by the vendor.Coordinate between the vendor, relevant managers, and sales team to help define strategies for the vendor's products.Consolidate and follow up on the global company/vendor business plan.Inform the company training department of the available training programs from the vendor for sales, operations, and service.SkillsStrong business sense and market vision.Strong communication, interpersonal and presentation skills.Excellent command of English and Arabic for business purposes.Teamwork spirit.Eager to learn new technologies and solutions.Excellent Negotiation skills.Excellent Analytics skills.Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.#J-18808-Ljbffr
