Job Description
The Business Development Manager will be responsible for driving revenue growth by identifying, developing, and closing new business opportunities within the events sector in Saudi Arabia. The role focuses on building strong client relationships, expanding market presence, and delivering consultative, technology-driven temporary solutions for live events in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.Key ResponsibilitiesDrive revenue growth by identifying, developing, and closing new business opportunities within the events sector across KSAActively prospect, qualify, and secure new clients, including event organizers, production companies, venues, and government-related entitiesLeverage an established network within the Saudi events ecosystem to generate leads and partnershipsDevelop a deep understanding of client needs and sell consultatively by tailoring solutions accordinglyPrepare and deliver compelling proposals, presentations, and commercial offersLead negotiations and close deals while ensuring profitability and long-term valueCollaborate closely with technical and operations teams to ensure feasible, high-quality delivery of solutionsClearly communicate technical concepts and service capabilities to non-technical stakeholdersMonitor market trends, competitor activity, and upcoming events to identify growth opportunitiesRepresent the company professionally at industry events, client meetings, and live event sitesWillingness to travel across KSA and work flexible hours, particularly during peak event period.Required Experience & QualificationsProven experience in business development or sales within the events industry in KSAStrong preference for experience in technology-related temporary services (e.g., AV, IT, infrastructure, connectivity, power, event tech)Solid understanding of the Saudi events ecosystem, including organizers, suppliers, and regulatory/government stakeholdersWell-networked with key decision-makers in event organizations and relevant government agencies/entitiesExperience working in fast-paced, deadline-driven, live-event environmentsExcellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skillsComfortable working with technical teams and bridging the gap between technical and commercial discussionsResults-driven with a strong commercial focusSkills & AttributesStrong interpersonal and relationship-building skillsSelf-motivated, proactive, and able to work independentlyHighly organized with strong time-management and prioritization skillsAdaptable and calm under pressure, especially in live-event scenariosClient-focused mindset with the ability to anticipate and solve problems quicklyOther CompetenciesCommercial Mindset: Strong focus on revenue growth, value creation, and long-term business impactRelationship Building: Builds trust quickly with clients, partners, and internal teams; maintains strong, lasting relationshipsClient-Centric Approach: Actively listens, understands client objectives, and adapts solutions to meet evolving needsResilience & Adaptability: Performs effectively in high-pressure, live-event environments and responds positively to changeInfluence & Communication: Communicates clearly and persuasively with both technical and non-technical stakeholdersCollaboration: Works seamlessly with cross-functional teams to deliver successful event outcomesInitiative & Ownership: Proactive self-starter who takes accountability for results and follows through on commitmentsProblem Solving: Anticipates challenges and delivers practical, timely solutions under tight deadlinesProfessionalism: Demonstrates integrity, reliability, and confidence when representing the company in the market#J-18808-Ljbffr
