Carpenter vacancy in Umm-al-Qaiwain UAEWe are looking for an experienced Carpenter to join our team in Umm-al-Qaiwain. The ideal candidate should have at least 2 years of experience in carpentry and be willing to work with a variety of projects. The salary for this position is 1300 AED per month. We are also open to considering an immigrant for this role.Duties and ResponsibilitiesConstruct, assemble or repair cabinets, doors, frameworks, stairs and other wooden fixtures used in buildingsMeasure and mark cutting lines on materials using a ruler, pencil or chalk lineCut materials to size indicated by drawings or templates using handsaws, power saws or chiselsShape materials to specified measurements using planes, chisels and carvesAssemble cut & shaped materials and fix them together with nails, screws or glueCheck accuracy of structures assembled with spirit levels or other precision instrumentsFill cracks and imperfections with putty or wood fillerInstall windows, doors and furniture items as requested by customersQualifications & RequirementsAt least 2 years of experience in carpentry workProven experience as a carpenter in a similar settingAbility to read technical plans & drawings accuratelyKnowledge of machinery operation & maintenanceAbility to use power tools (e.g. saws) safelyGood physical condition & strength with the ability to lift heavy objectsHigh school diploma; woodworking certificate is a plus#J-18808-Ljbffr
