The successful candidate will be responsible for constructing, repairing and maintaining items made of wood and other materials. You should have at least one year of experience in a similar role.The duties of the Carpenter include but are not limited to:• Reading blueprints/measuring drawings to determine specifications and calculate requirements;• Cutting, shaping and smoothing timber, synthetic materials and other materials;• Assembling cut and shaped materials using nails, screws, staples or dowels;• Constructing frames, frameworks and other structures;• Constructing doors, windows frames, staircases, flooring and other items;• Producing furniture items such as tables, chairs, beds etc.;• Repairing or replacing broken parts or structures;• Finishing surfaces with varnish or paint.The successful candidate must have excellent hand-eye coordination in order to work accurately with tools. Attention to detail is essential for this role. The ideal candidate should also be able to work independently with minimal supervision.The salary for this position is AED 1300 per month.
