This position requires the ability to build, repair and maintain structures, furniture and other objects using a variety of hand and power tools. The successful candidate should be able to take direction from supervisors, be reliable, organized and possess excellent carpentry skills.ResponsibilitiesBuild structures such as walls, cabinets, shelves, furniture or other items requiring carpentry work.Read blueprints or drawings to determine dimensions and specifications.Use hand tools (saws, hammers, screwdrivers) and power tools (drills) to construct items.Repair existing items by replacing faulty parts or strengthening weakened sections with new material.Measure materials accurately prior to cutting to ensure proper fit during assembly.QualificationsHigh school diploma or equivalent; at least 2 years of carpentry experience.Knowledge and experience with a variety of hand and power tools.Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to read blueprints/diagrams.Physical ability to perform duties including lifting heavy objects, standing for long periods, bending, and working in confined spaces.BenefitsAttractive salary with benefits including paid vacation after one year of service.Medical insurance coverage after three months on the job.Opportunities for career growth and training opportunities for committed employees.#J-18808-Ljbffr
