OverviewPosition Title: CarpenterLocation: Haur-FakkanSalary: 1500 AEDJob SummaryWe are looking for an experienced Carpenter to join our team in Haur-Fakkan. The successful candidate will be responsible for installing, repairing, and constructing wooden structures and fixtures such as cabinets, countertops, staircases, doors and windows. The candidate should have a good eye for detail and a passion for precision.ResponsibilitiesMeasure and mark cutting lines on materials using a ruler, pencil or marking gauge.Cut materials to size required using hand tools such as saws or chisels.Assemble cut and shaped materials and fix them together with nails, screws or glue.Construct frameworks including partitions, joists, rafters using raw materials or pre-fabricated items.Fit interior components such as skirting boards, door frames etc.Follow technical plans accurately when carrying out installations or repairs.Inspect places of work to identify problems with existing structures/fixtures/fittings.Work safely with hand tools and power tools at all times.Work in accordance with Health & Safety regulations at all times.Qualifications & RequirementsProven experience as a carpenter in the construction industryKnowledge of carpentry techniques including use of hand tools and power toolsAbility to read technical drawings and plansGood eye for detail when measuring and cutting wood/materialsPhysically fit with manual dexterity to manipulate small objectsWe welcome applications from immigrants who meet the above requirements.#J-18808-Ljbffr
