OverviewCashier in Khalifah A City, UAE. Khalifa A City is looking for a Cashier to join their team. The ideal candidate will have experience in handling cash and processing payments quickly and accurately. The Cashier must be comfortable providing excellent customer service, working well under pressure and remaining professional at all times. Attention to detail and accuracy are essential as the Cashier will be responsible for timely, accurate processing of payments from customers. The Cashier should also be able to work with minimal supervision, maintain excellent time management skills and demonstrate strong problem-solving skills.ResponsibilitiesAccurately process payments for customersCount money in cash drawers at the beginning of shifts to ensure that amounts are correct and that there is enough changeHandle credit card transactions with careIssue receipts, refunds, credits or change due to customersBalance cash drawers at the end of the shiftMaintain an orderly checkout areaResolve customer complaints in a professional mannerQualificationsPrevious experience working as a Cashier or in retail/customer service environmentAbility to handle cash transactions quickly and accuratelyExcellent customer service skills with strong attention to detailAbility to work under pressure and in a fast-paced environmentAn understanding of basic math concepts such as fractions, decimals and percentages is preferred.We are offering a salary of $1600 per month for this position and we welcome applications from foreigners who meet the criteria listed above.
