Chemical Engineer - Biometric Passport SpecialistWe are seeking a highly skilled Chemical Engineer - Biometric Passport Specialist to join our team in Haur-Fakkan, UAE. As a specialist in biometric passport technology, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing biometric identification systems for the country's passport system.Key Responsibilities:- Conduct research and analysis on biometric identification technology and its application in passport systems- Design and develop biometric passport systems that meet international standards for security and efficiency- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate biometric technology into the existing passport system- Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements related to biometric technology- Conduct testing and troubleshooting of biometric systems to ensure accuracy and effectiveness- Train staff on how to use the biometric passport system effectively- Monitor and maintain the performance of the biometric system, making necessary adjustments or updates as neededRequirements:- Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering or a related field- Minimum of 3 years experience working with biometric technology, preferably in a passport or identity management setting- Strong understanding of biometrics principles and applications- Experience with software programming languages such as C++, Java or Python- Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team- Fluency in English (knowledge of other languages is an asset)Preferred Qualifications:- Master's degree in Chemical Engineering or related field- Prior experience working in the UAE- Knowledge of Arabic languageWe welcome candidates from all nationalities who meet the requirements for this position.
