OverviewChemist in Umm-al-Qaiwain, UAEWe are looking for a Chemist to join our team in Umm-al-Qaiwain. The role requires an individual who is creative, analytical and self-motivated with excellent communication skills. The position requires the ability to work independently as well as part of a team. The ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate their technical knowledge and proficiency in order to maintain the highest standards of quality control and safety regulations.ResponsibilitiesConducting laboratory experiments based on established protocols and proceduresDeveloping new methods and techniques for testing productsAnalyzing samples using various instruments such as spectrometers and gas chromatographsPreparing detailed reports on results of tests conductedMaintaining accurate records of experiments performedEnsuring all safety regulations are followed in the lab at all timesCollaborating with other scientists on research projectsQualificationsBachelor’s degree in Chemistry or related fieldPrior experience in laboratory research is preferred but not mandatoryExcellent problem solving, communication, organizational, time management and interpersonal skillsAbility to work independently as well as part of a teamCompensation and BenefitsWe offer a competitive salary of 1700 AED per month with potential for advancement along with other benefits such as medical insurance coverage.
