Leverage your abilitiesand join the dynamic team of a leading company specializing in Food and Beverageindustry in Saudi Arabia, DammamLocation: Dammam, Saudi ArabiaThe Chief Accountant will be responsible for the operational finance lead, supporting the GM & CFO by overseeing day-to-day accounting operations, financial controls, and credit management activities. The role is responsible for ensuring accuracy of financial records, disciplined collections performance, strong internal controls, and effective working capital management. This is a hands‑on position requiring close supervision of receivables, invoicing governance, and operational accounting functions while supporting the GM & CFO with reliable financial reporting and compliance.Key AccountabilitiesOversee daily accounting operations including General Ledger, AR, AP, payroll, and inventory accounting.Manage monthly and year‑end closing processes and ensure accuracy of financial records.Prepare monthly financial statements (Income Statement, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow).Supervise accounts receivable and collections to improve DSO and reduce overdue balances.Implement and enforce customer credit policies, credit limits, and payment terms.Ensure accurate invoicing and revenue recognition aligned with sales and delivery documentation.Monitor daily cash position, bank reconciliations, and working capital performance.Ensure compliance with IFRS, VAT, ZATCA e‑invoicing, and Saudi financial regulations.Support internal and external audits and maintain complete financial documentation.Oversee inventory accounting and reconciliation with warehouse operations.Supervise accounting team and improve financial processes and internal controls.Knowledge, Skills, and ExperienceWe are looking for:Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.8+ years of accounting experience, preferably in trading, distribution, or FMCG companies in KSA.Strong hands‑on experience in Accounts Receivable, collections supervision, and credit control.Good knowledge of VAT regulations, ZATCA e‑invoicing, and Saudi tax compliance.Experience preparing financial statements and managing month‑end closing.Familiarity with ERP systems (Odoo preferred).Strong understanding of working capital management and financial controls.Ability to supervise accounting teams and improve financial processes.Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.#J-18808-Ljbffr
