Chief Compliance Officer

We are seeking an experienced Chief Compliance Officer to lead compliance function and ensure adherence to regulatory standards across all business areas. This is a confidential leadership search for a senior professional with a proven track record in compliance, financial crime risk, and regulatory governance.Key ResponsibilitiesLead and manage the compliance department, including performance oversight, coaching, and development.Oversee financial crime compliance frameworks, including controls for AML, CFT, sanctions, and anti-bribery and corruption.Ensure implementation of customer due diligence (CDD), periodic reviews, risk assessments, and regulatory reporting.Supervise data protection and privacy compliance, ensuring secure and lawful data processing.Represent the organization in dealings with regulatory bodies, providing timely reports and responses.Drive continuous improvement in compliance procedures and automation.Deliver internal training and awareness sessions on compliance policies and regulatory updates.QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Law, Business, Finance, Accounting, or related fields; a Master’s degree is preferred.Recognized compliance or financial crime certifications are highly desirable (e.g., CAMS, ICA, CCEP, CFE).Minimum of 12–15 years of relevant experience in compliance, financial crime, or regulatory environments, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role.Proven expertise in AML, KYC, CDD, FATF, CRS, and related compliance frameworks.Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
