OverviewThis is a remote position.ResponsibilitiesOverall in-charge of engine department and machinery operationsEnsure safe operation and maintenance of main engine, auxiliaries, and tanker-specific systems (Cargo pumps, IGS, COW, tank cleaning)Lead and supervise engine officers and ratingsMonitor fuel consumption, PMS, and engine performanceEnsure compliance with ISM, MARPOL, SOLAS, and Company SMSPrevent pollution and maintain Oil Record BookCoordinate inspections, repairs, and dry-dock activitiesReport to Master and shore technical teamQualificationsChief Engineer COC (STCW III / 2 – Unlimited)Valid tanker experience & endorsementsMinimum tanker experience as 2nd / Chief EngineerGood leadership and communication skillsCDC STCW VALID COP WATCHKEEPING#J-18808-Ljbffr
