CHIEF ENGINEER FOR TANKER

<div><h3>Overview</h3><p>This is a remote position.</p><h3>Responsibilities</h3><ul><li>Overall in-charge of engine department and machinery operations</li><li>Ensure safe operation and maintenance of main engine, auxiliaries, and tanker-specific systems (Cargo pumps, IGS, COW, tank cleaning)</li><li>Lead and supervise engine officers and ratings</li><li>Monitor fuel consumption, PMS, and engine performance</li><li>Ensure compliance with ISM, MARPOL, SOLAS, and Company SMS</li><li>Prevent pollution and maintain Oil Record Book</li><li>Coordinate inspections, repairs, and dry-dock activities</li><li>Report to Master and shore technical team</li></ul><h3>Qualifications</h3><ul><li>Chief Engineer COC (STCW III / 2 – Unlimited)</li><li>Valid tanker experience&endorsements</li><li>Minimum tanker experience as 2nd / Chief Engineer</li><li>Good leadership and communication skills</li><li>CDC STCW VALID COP WATCHKEEPING</li></ul></div>#J-18808-Ljbffr
