The ideal candidate should have at least 3 years of experience working in the field of civil engineering and be familiar with the fundamentals of structural design, civil engineering principles, construction techniques and materials.The Civil Engineer will be responsible for planning, designing and overseeing construction projects, from start to finish. You will be required to review designs for accuracy and practicality while ensuring that all safety guidelines are followed. Additionally, you will need to manage budgets, supervise contractors and ensure that all projects are completed on time and within budget.To be successful in this role you must possess excellent communication skills as you will be required to liaise with a variety of stakeholders including clients, contractors and consultants. A degree in civil engineering is essential for this role as is experience working with AutoCAD software packages.
