Cloudera Platform Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Cloudera Platform Specialist to lead the administration, optimization, and reliability of a sovereign Cloudera Data Platform (CDP) environment. The role focuses on building and maintaining a high-availability Data Lakehouse capable of supporting real-time analytics and predictive modeling while meeting strict national data governance and security requirements.Contract: 7 Months (Extendable)Shift: Sunday–Thursday | 10/11 AM onwards PKTResponsibilitiesDesign, deploy, and manage Cloudera Data Platform (CDP) Private Cloud Base environments.Implement enterprise security and governance using Apache Ranger (RBAC), Apache Atlas (data lineage), and Kerberos authentication.Optimize cluster performance and resource allocation for YARN, Impala, Hive on Tez, and Spark workloads.Manage data ingestion pipelines using Apache NiFi (CDF) and Kafka for high-volume real-time data processing.Ensure operational stability through cluster monitoring, automation, backup/recovery, and high-availability maintenance.Collaborate with KSA-based architects and stakeholders to ensure platform reliability and scalability.Qualification6+ years of experience in Big Data EngineeringAt least 3 years of hands‑on experience with Cloudera (CDH/CDP)Strong understanding of distributed data platforms and big data ecosystemsExperience working in enterprise or regulated environments.Must HaveHands‑on expertise with Cloudera Data Platform (CDP/CDH).Strong knowledge of HDFS, Kudu, Ozone, and Cloudera Manager APIExperience with Apache Ranger, Apache Atlas, and Kerberos security implementationsPerformance tuning experience for YARN, Impala, Hive on Tez, and SparkExperience with Apache NiFi and Kafka for data ingestion pipelinesProficiency in Python or PySpark for automation and data processingNice to haveCloudera Certified Professional (CCP) or Associate certificationExperience supporting real‑time analytics and predictive modeling platformsBackground working with government or national data governance frameworks (NCA / NDMO)What's great in the job?Great team of smart people, in a friendly and open cultureNo dumb managers, no stupid tools to use, no rigid working hoursNo waste of time in enterprise processes, real responsibilities and autonomyExpand your knowledge of various business industriesCreate content that will help our users on a daily basisReal responsibilities and challenges in a fast evolving company#J-18808-Ljbffr
