This role requires a visionary leader with strong commercial acumen, deep market knowledge, and the ability to build and inspire high-performing teams.A little taste of your day-to-day:Every day is different, but you’ll mostly do:ResponsibilitiesDevelop and execute a comprehensive business development and sales strategy aligned with cluster objectives and brand standardsIdentify and secure new business opportunities, key accounts, and strategic partnerships across corporate, MICE, leisure, and long-stay segmentsLead, mentor, and motivate the sales and business development teams to consistently exceed revenue targetsDrive market analysis, competitor benchmarking, and forecasting to support strategic decision-makingStrengthen relationships with key stakeholders, including corporate clients, travel partners, government entities, and global accountsCollaborate closely with Revenue Management, Marketing, Operations, and Finance to ensure a holistic commercial approachOversee preparation and execution of annual budgets, business plans, and sales action plansRepresent the cluster at industry events, trade shows, and networking platformsEnsure full compliance with IHG brand standards, policies, and ethical practicesQualificationsStrong strategic thinking with a results-driven mindsetExcellent leadership, negotiation, and stakeholder management skillsProven ability to analyze market trends and convert insights into actionable strategiesExceptional communication and presentation skillsAbility to work in a fast-paced, multi-stakeholder environmentHigh level of professionalism, integrity, and commercial awarenessWhat you can expect from usWe give our people everything they need to succeed.
