Coating QC Inspector

We are hiring for Eastern Tabani General Contracting CompanyJob DescriptionTo monitor, inspect, and ensure all coating, painting, and surface preparation activities are executed in compliance with project specifications, client requirements, and international standards, safeguarding asset protection and long-term performance.Conduct inspection of surface preparation, blasting, and coating applications as per project standards and approved ITPs.Verify environmental conditions (temperature, humidity, dew point, surface cleanliness) before and during coating operations.Ensure coating materials are approved, stored, and mixed in accordance with manufacturer’s requirements.Inspect dry film thickness (DFT), adhesion, and holiday testing of applied coatings.Monitor contractor/subcontractor activities to ensure compliance with project specifications and international codes.Raise, track, and close NCRs (Non-Conformance Reports) and ensure corrective actions are implemented.Maintain inspection reports, logs, and documentation for submission to client/consultant.Liaise with client inspectors for joint inspections and final acceptance.Mandatory RequirementsDiploma / Degree in Engineering or relevant technical discipline.Minimum 5+ years of experience in Coating/Painting QA-QC Inspection (Oil & Gas / Petrochemical / Infrastructure projects preferred).Knowledge of international standards (SSPC, NACE, ISO, ASTM).NACE Level II / BGAS-CSWIP certification (mandatory for major projects).Familiar with QA/QC systems, procedures, and inspection methodologies.Strong understanding of coating systems, paints, and application methods.Ability to interpret specifications, standards, and drawings.#J-18808-Ljbffr
