Compliance & Government Relations Manager, Quick Commerce

Overview This role is responsible for ensuring organizational adherence to regulatory requirements while managing government relations and operational compliance across all assigned sites. The position bridges compliance enforcement with proactive government and regulatory engagement. Responsibilities COMPLIANCE RESPONSIBILITIES:Own and maintain the site compliance framework, including licensing, permits, and regulatory documentationConduct regular compliance audits and gap assessments across all sitesEnsure timely renewal and tracking of all regulatory permits and licensesDevelop and maintain compliance registers, trackers, and reporting dashboardsGOVERNMENT RELATIONS RESPONSIBILITIES:Build and maintain relationships with relevant government bodies, regulatory authorities, and enforcement agenciesMonitor legislative and regulatory changes that may impact operations and advise leadership proactivelySupport Branch Managers in managing regulatory interfaces at site levelDevelop government engagement strategies aligned with business objectivesCROSS-FUNCTIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:Collaborate with Legal, Operations, and Engineering teams to ensure integrated compliance and GR coverageProvide compliance and GR input into new site launches, expansions, and operational changesMaintain documentation standards for all regulatory correspondence and government interactionsReport compliance and GRO status to senior leadership on a regular cadence Basic Qualifications 3+ years of program or project management experience3+ years of working cross functionally with tech and non-tech teams experience3+ years of defining and implementing process improvement initiatives using data and metrics experienceBachelor's degreeKnowledge of Excel (Pivot Tables, VLookUps) at an advanced level and SQL Preferred Qualifications 3+ years of driving end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership experienceExperience in stakeholder management, dealing with multiple stakeholders at varied levels of the organizationExperience building processes, project management, and schedulesOur inclusive culture empowers Amazonians to deliver the best results for our customers.
