Today, we're driving the energy transition with more than 30,000 of the brightest minds across 54 countries.Job DescriptionJob OverviewThe Construction Specialist applies their conceptual knowledge of Construction and, with a moderate level of guidance and direction from colleagues and leadership, is responsible for solving a range of straightforward construction problems. They will be responsible for analyzing possible solutions using standard procedures and building knowledge of the company, processes, and customers. The Construction Specialist understands key business drivers and applies this knowledge to solve problems in straightforward situations by analyzing possible solutions using technical experience, judgment, and precedents.ResponsibilitiesKey Tasks and ResponsibilitiesOversee onshore construction projects from conception to completion, ensuring that all work is completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standardsDevelop and maintain project schedules, resource plans, and budgets, and ensure that they are regularly updated and communicated to all stakeholdersCoordinate all construction activities with internal and external stakeholders, including clients, contractors, subcontractors, and suppliers, to ensure that all work is completed safely, efficiently, and to the required standardsConduct regular site visits to monitor progress and identify any issues that may impact the project schedule, budget, or qualityEnsure that all construction work conforms to all applicable regulations, standards, and quality requirementsManage the procurement of construction materials, equipment, and services in accordance with project requirements, budgets, and schedulesProvide regular reports to senior management on the progress and status of the project, including any issues that may require their attentionContribute to the development and implementation of safety protocols and procedures to maintain a safe working environment on EPCI project sitesQualificationsEssential Qualifications and Education3 to 5+ years of experience in onshore construction management within the EPCI industryBachelor's degree in a relevant field such as civil engineering, construction management, or similarExperience overseeing projects in the oil and gas, renewable energy, or power generation sectors is preferredExcellent project management skills, with a proven track record of delivering projects on time, within budget, and to the required quality standardsStrong understanding of construction methods, techniques, and technologies, and the ability to apply them effectively to onshore construction projectsKnowledge of relevant regulations, standards, and safety requirements in the EPCI industryExcellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise with a broad range of internal and external stakeholdersStrong attention to detail and the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment#J-18808-Ljbffr
