Reviewing job orders to make the right adjustments to the printing machinePrepare, Operate and Maintain the press:Installation of the printing plate with the images to be printed and adjusts the pressure at which the machine printsloads paper and adjust the press to the paper sizeFeeds paper through the press cylinders and adjust feed and tension controlsFills ink and dampening solution fountains of pressAdjusts press machine partsRegularly inspect press machine for any malfunctions.Performs maintenance task on the printing machinePerforms troubleshooting on minor machine issues such as creaking sounds etc.Coordinate with the in-house maintenance team for any machine malfunctionsCleaning of the printing press and peripheralsOther duties as maybe assigned by the SupervisorSet time aside to learn and keep oneself updated with the latest printing technologiesInitiate interest to cross train with other operators handling different press machine to enhance skills
