Coordinator - DC_Supply Chain - DC Operations_DWC - Dubai.WH Furniture.Home Box Supply Chain.UAE_DWC - Dubai_Home Box Supply ChainUnited Arab EmiratesJob DescriptionKey responsibilities for the coordinator include.ResponsibilitiesWarehouse Operations:Supervise day-to-day operations in the furniture department, including receiving, storing, picking, packing, and dispatching goods.Ensure optimal utilization of warehouse space while maintaining inventory accuracy.Supply Chain Systems:Utilize supply chain portals and warehouse management systems (WMS) to monitor and manage inventory.Provide training and support to staff for effective system usage.Technology Integration:Identify and implement technological advancements to streamline operations, improve efficiency, and reduce costs.Analyze data and generate insights for performance improvement.Innovative Problem‑Solving:Apply design thinking principles to develop creative solutions for operational challenges.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to introduce new workflows and processes.Distribution and Logistics:Coordinate with logistics teams to ensure timely and accurate delivery of furniture products.Monitor and manage shipping schedules to meet customer expectations.Team Leadership:Manage and motivate warehouse staff, ensuring high productivity and compliance with safety standards.Conduct performance evaluations and provide ongoing coaching and development opportunities.Compliance and Reporting:Ensure adherence to company policies, quality standards, and safety regulations.Generate regular reports on inventory, operational efficiency, and departmental performance.Warehouse HSE and safety compliance and standards are maintained.QualificationsQualifications and skills:Bachelor’s degree/Diploma in supply chain management, logistics, business administration, or a related field.Preferably MBA in Supply Chain.5+ years of experience in warehouse operations, preferably in furniture or a similar industry.Proficiency in supply chain portals, warehouse management systems, and ERP software.Strong understanding of core supply chain principles, distribution, and logistics.Demonstrated ability to lead teams and foster a culture of innovation.Exceptional organizational, analytical, and problem‑solving skills.Creative mindset with a focus on continuous improvement.Preferred skills: Warehouse MIS and reporting skills, advanced Excel, Power BI, Python.Required SkillsAdvanced Excel, Power BI, Python programming language, reporting skills and knowledge, Warehouse MIS, warehousing.#J-18808-Ljbffr
