Cost Accountant - Offsite Warehouse

Located less than 50 minutes from Dubai International Airport, this integrated resort offering 1,530 rooms and suites, 22 restaurants and lounges, a theatre, nightclub, and five-star spa is currently under construction on a picturesque island that gracefully curves into the Arabian Gulf.About the Position:Wynn Al Marjan Island is currently seeking a Cost Accountant to join the resort’s Offsite Warehouse team.The primary duties and responsibilities of this role are:Track and validate inventory transactions including receipts, transfers, and returnsPerform cost variance analysis and investigate discrepanciesMaintain accurate costing records for all warehouse itemsPrepare monthly inventory and cost reports for finance and operations teamsSupport budgeting and forecasting activities related to warehouse operationsAssist in preparing accruals and reconciliations for inventory accountsEnsure adherence to internal controls and UAE financial regulationSupport internal and external audits with documentation and analysisImplement cost control measures to reduce waste and improve efficiencyWork closely with warehouse, procurement, and F&B teams to align costing practicesAssist in recipe costing and yield testing for items stored or processed offsite.Provide financial insights to support operational decision-makingAbout You:The ideal candidate for this position will have the following experience and qualifications:Minimum 3–5 years in cost accounting or inventory control, preferably in hospitality or logisticsBachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. Certification in inventory or cost accounting is a plusProficiency in ERP systems (e.g., Oracle, BirchStreet)Strong Excel and data analysis skillsKnowledge of inventory costing, variance reporting, and reconciliationAttention to detail and ability to work under tight deadlinesFluent in English; Arabic or other languages are an advantageWe offer an attractive salary, paid in Dirhams (AED), the local currency of the UAE.
