Cost Controller

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Cost Controller to join our team in Abu Dhabi. This role plays a critical part in overseeing cost management, ensuring financial efficiency, and supporting strategic business decisions. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of cost control principles within the consumer services or retail sector and a keen eye for financial detail.This is an exciting opportunity for someone looking to grow their career in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.Key Responsibilities of Cost ControllerMonitor and control costs across all departments to ensure alignment with budgetary goals.Analyze cost variances and prepare regular reports for management review.Maintain and update cost databases, including pricing and inventory records.Collaborate with procurement and operations teams to implement cost-saving strategies.Assist in budget preparation, forecasting, and financial planning processes.Review supplier invoices, contracts, and purchase orders for accuracy and compliance.Identify potential areas for cost reduction and process improvement.Ensure compliance with internal financial policies and procedures.Qualification Required for Cost ControllerEducation: Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.Experience: Minimum 1 year of relevant experience in cost control or accounting roles.Strong analytical and numerical skills with high attention to detail.Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting software (e.g., ERP systems).Excellent communication and organizational skills.Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.Prior experience in the consumer services or retail industry is an advantage.Company BioSamira Maatouk Group is a renowned name in the Consumer Services industry, known for delivering excellence in hospitality, retail, and gourmet experiences.
