The Data Protection Officer (DPO) is responsible for overseeing Unifonic’s compliance with the Saudi PDPL and applicable privacy regulations, ensuring that personal data across Unifonic’s CPaaS, SaaS, and AI products is processed lawfully, securely, and transparently. The DPO acts as the independent privacy oversight function and advisor to management on data protection risks and regulatory obligations.ResponsibilitiesLeading and maintaining Unifonic’s Privacy Management FrameworkMaintaining RoPA and overseeing DPIAs/PIAsEnsuring compliance with PDPL and SDAIA regulationsOverseeing Data Subject Request (DSR) handling and response timelinesReviewing and approving vendor DPAs and cross‑border data transfersAdvising on privacy‑by‑design in new products and AI initiativesActing as a point of contact with regulators and supporting auditsProviding periodic privacy reporting to senior managementLeading privacy awareness and training programs for employeesSupporting customer‑facing privacy transparency and education initiativesRequirements2–4 years in privacy, compliance, or regulatory rolesStrong knowledge of Saudi PDPLExperience in technology/SaaS environmentsCertifications such as CIPP/E, CIPM, CIPT, or FIP preferredRequired Skills & CompetenciesStrong understanding of PDPL and SDAIA guidanceExperience with RoPA, DPIA, and DSR processesKnowledge of cross‑border data transfer rulesVendor DPA review expertiseAbility to operate independently and objectivelyStrong documentation and audit‑readiness mindsetExecutive communication and reporting capabilityAbility to challenge business decisions constructivelyBenefitsCompetitive salary and bonusGOSI deduction coverageUnifonic share scheme (we are all owners!)30 holiday days after the first anniversaryYour birthday offSpend up to 5 weeks per year working from anywhere in the worldPaid leave for new parents#J-18808-Ljbffr
