Design Engineer

The Design Engineer is responsible for preparing accurate and efficient engineering designs, drawings, calculations, and technical documentation in compliance with project specifications, industry standards, and client requirements.Key ResponsibilitiesPrepare detailed engineering drawings, layouts, and design calculations.Review project specifications, BOQ, and contract requirements.Develop shop drawings and fabrication drawings.Coordinate with project and site teams for design clarifications.Ensure designs comply with local regulations and industry standards.Perform technical analysis and material selection.Revise drawings as per client/consultant comments.Support estimation team with technical inputs during tender stage.Maintain proper documentation and drawing control records.Assist in value engineering and cost optimization initiatives.SkillsQualifications & ExperienceBachelor’s Degree in Civil / Mechanical / Electrical Engineering.3–8 years of relevant design experience (UAE/GCC preferred).Proficiency in AutoCAD; knowledge of other design software preferred.Strong technical and analytical skills.Good coordination and communication abilities.#J-18808-Ljbffr
