In this pivotal role, you will oversee the design process for the development of airport infrastructure, ensuring that all projects meet the highest standards of safety, functionality, and aesthetic appeal. Your expertise will guide a team of architects and engineers in creating innovative design solutions tailored to the specific needs of the aviation sector.ResponsibilitiesLead the design team in developing comprehensive design proposals for airport infrastructure projects, ensuring alignment with client specifications and regulatory requirements.Collaborate with engineers, contractors, and other stakeholders to integrate mechanical, electrical, and structural systems into the design.Conduct site assessments and feasibility studies to inform design decisions and identify potential challenges.Manage the production of design drawings, models, and specifications while ensuring compliance with all applicable building codes and standards.Review and critique design submissions, providing constructive feedback to enhance overall project quality.Coordinate with local authorities and regulatory bodies to secure necessary approvals and permits for construction.Monitor project progress, timelines, and budgets, adjusting designs as needed to accommodate changes or new challenges.Mentor and guide junior designers and interns, fostering a collaborative and innovative design environment.QualificationsBachelor's degree in Architecture, Engineering, or a related field15+ years of experience in design management, specifically with a focus on aviation or large-scale construction projectsStrong understanding of airport design standards and regulationsProficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, Revit, and 3D modeling toolsExcellent project management abilities, with a proven track record of successfully leading multidisciplinary teamsStrong communication skills for effective collaboration with clients, stakeholders, and team membersDetail-oriented with a strong ability to visualize and conceptualize design ideasExperience working on airport infrastructure or related infrastructure projects is highly desirable#J-18808-Ljbffr
