DHA Registered Assistant Nurse

We are seeking a DHA-licensed Assistant Nurse with a strong emphasis on diagnostic screenings as the foundation of patient care. The ideal candidate will support registered nurses, general practitioners and specialists in integrating functional medicine, regenerative therapies and wellness-focused treatments to manage and treat chronic diseases. This role requires a holistic patient-centered approach to nursing care focusing on preventive health, patient education and long-term wellness management.Key ResponsibilitiesPatient Screening & Preventive Nursing SupportAssist in conducting routine diagnostic screenings including:Vital signs monitoring (blood pressure, heart rate, temperature, oxygen saturation).Basic metabolic and health assessments.Blood sample collection & preparation for laboratory analysis.Support early disease detection by assisting in patient assessments and health history documentation.Prepare patients for medical examinations, diagnostic tests and regenerative treatments.Functional & Regenerative Medicine AssistanceAssist in administering functional and regenerative therapies.Monitor and report patient responses to treatments and alert supervising nurses or physicians of any concerns.Chronic Disease Management SupportAssist in managing patients with chronic diseases such as:Diabetes & metabolic disorders (blood glucose monitoring, dietary guidance).Cardiovascular conditions (ECG preparation, medication adherence support).Autoimmune disorders (monitoring symptoms, assisting with anti-inflammatory protocols).Gut health & microbiome imbalances (administering probiotic protocols supporting digestive health plans).Support the implementation of lifestyle interventions, wellness protocols and holistic health strategies.Patient Education & Lifestyle SupportEducate patients on basic wellness principles.Provide pre- and post-treatment instructions for patients undergoing functional and regenerative therapies.Assist in wellness education workshops, community health programs and patient engagement initiatives.Compliance, Medical Ethics & Clinical StandardsEnsure full compliance with DHA regulations, infection control protocols and patient safety standards.Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records including patient progress notes, screening results and treatment logs.Adhere to strict hygiene, sterilization and medication administration procedures.Assist in maintaining clinical areas, stocking medical supplies and ensuring smooth clinic operations.Collaborative & Multidisciplinary Team ApproachWork closely with registered nurses, general practitioners, clinical dietitians, physiotherapists and regenerative medicine specialists to provide holistic patient care.Assist in coordinating patient care schedules and treatment plans.Support healthcare professionals in medical case discussions, nursing interventions and patient follow-ups.RequirementsDiploma or Bachelor's Degree in Nursing from a recognized institution.DHA-licensed or DHA-eligible as an Assistant Nurse in Dubai.Minimum 3 years of nursing experience with experience in preventive care, wellness or functional medicine settings preferred.Additional certifications in IV therapy, functional nursing, wellness coaching or regenerative medicine (e.g. IVNT, functional health training) are an advantage.Basic knowledge of diagnostic screenings, patient education and chronic disease management.Strong organizational, communication and teamwork skills.Key CompetenciesPatient-Centered Approach: Compassionate, attentive care tailored to each patient’s needs.Basic Diagnostic & Clinical Skills: Competence in vital signs monitoring, blood sample collection and treatment preparation.Functional & Preventive Nursing Support: Understanding of holistic health and wellness-focused nursing care.Collaboration & Multidisciplinary Coordination: Ability to work within a healthcare team to support patient-centered care.Compliance & Ethics: Commitment to DHA regulations, patient safety and infection control.Continuous Learning: Interest in advancing knowledge in functional medicine, regenerative therapies and holistic nursing care.#J-18808-Ljbffr
