Diesel Mechanic

ResponsibilitiesPerform diagnostics, maintenance, and repairs on heavy trucks and diesel tankers, including major service tasks.Use truck diagnostic tools and software (e.g., OBD scanners, Jaltest, etc.) to troubleshoot and resolve mechanical and electronic issues.Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance, including engine tune-ups, oil changes, and brake adjustments.Diagnose and repair complex mechanical problems, such as engine overhauls, transmission issues, and suspension systems.Replace or repair faulty components, including fuel systems, hydraulic systems, and electrical systems.Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company standards during all repair and maintenance activities.Maintain accurate records of work performed, parts used, and diagnostic results.Collaborate with other team members to ensure timely servicing of the fleet and reduce downtime.QualificationsProven experience as a mechanic for heavy-duty trucks and diesel tankers, with expertise in major servicing tasks.Strong knowledge of diesel engines, hydraulics, and truck components.Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.Good communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.Familiarity with brands like Scania, Volvo, and MAN is a plus.Knowledge of safety and regulatory requirements for diesel tankers.#J-18808-Ljbffr
