Job Description
1. General Information:Job Title: Specialist, Employee RelationsUnit: Human Resources Section Reporting to: TBC2. Job Objective:To support all HR related activities covering total rewards, performance appraisal, career development, and overallHR operations, and ensure the effective execution of Clients HR strategy to retain a competent and motivatedworkforce that supports the achievement of its objectives.3. Key Responsibilities/Duties:● Serve as a point of contact for employee relations issues, concerns, and grievances.● Support and guide managers and employees on HR policies, labor laws, and employee rights.● Conduct thorough and confidential investigations into employee complaints and incidents.● Participate in the design of Clientsgrading structure through the evaluation of unique jobs across the entity.● Participate in the design and development of the clientsrewards strategy and compensation and benefitsstructure to enable the entity to attract the right skill sets and retain high caliber staff.● Prepare reports and documentation related to investigations, disciplinary actions, and policy violations.● Assist in resolving workplace conflicts through mediation and communication strategies.● Ensure consistent application of HR policies, procedures, and practices.● Maintain up-to-date knowledge of employment laws and compliance requirements.● Contribute to the development and implementation of employee engagement and retention strategies.● Monitor workplace morale and identify trends that may require proactive intervention.● Assist with disciplinary actions, performance improvement plans, and terminations, ensuring fairness andlegal compliance.● Collaborate with other HR team members in implementing training, wellness, and culture-building programs.● Implement Clientsperformance management framework, processes and plans, and ensure complianceacross Clientsfunctions.● Development and update of ClientsHR database and keep people related information updated includingattendance, personnel records, job rotation, career growth history and training details to streamline allprocesses and procedures.● Participate in the implementation of employee wellbeing initiatives aimed at building a healthy workplaceenvironment and promoting Clientsorganisational culture.#J-18808-Ljbffr
