Our presence in the Middle East is anchored by our contribution to large-scale infrastructure and transport projects across the GCC.About the Role:The System Assurance Specialist will lead the development and implementation of assurance strategies covering safety RAM (Reliability Availability Maintainability) and quality across all project systems. The role ensures compliance with international assurance standards and RTA regulations while supporting certification and operational readiness milestones.Key Responsibilities:Develop and implement System Assurance Plans (SAP) RAM Plans and Safety CasesCoordinate with discipline leads on hazard identification, risk assessments and mitigation trackingInterface with Independent Safety Assessors (ISAs) and third‑party reviewersMonitor and report on assurance deliverables throughout project phasesEnsure alignment with EN 50126, EN 50128 and EN 50129 standardsRequirements:MSc/BSc in Systems, Electrical or Railway EngineeringMinimum 15 years experience in assurance roles for metro/rail infrastructureIn‑depth knowledge of RAMS methodologies, safety assurance frameworks and system certificationPrior GCC experience, ideally with RTA or ISA coordination exposureStrong documentation, stakeholder engagement and audit‑readiness capabilitiesWhy Join UsAt Surbana Jurong we bring together talent, teamwork, innovation and a dynamic workplace to solve complex challenges creatively and collaboratively.
