Equipment Technician

We are seeking experienced professionals in the energy field for a major tendering opportunity with a leading oil and gas client in Qatar. Please note that these roles are subject to contract award and project commencement.Job Purpose:To ensure the reliable operation, preventive maintenance, and technical integrity of all audiovisual systems, interactive installations, and digital equipment, supporting seamless exhibition functionality and visitor engagement.Key Responsibilities:Monitor and ensure the proper functioning of all technical equipment, including AV systems, touchscreens, projection systems, control interfaces, and interactive displays.Conduct routine preventive maintenance and system health checks in accordance with operational schedules.Diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues promptly to minimize downtime.Coordinate with specialized external vendors and suppliers for advanced repairs or system upgrades.Maintain technical logs, maintenance records, and incident reports.Support installation, testing, and commissioning of new or upgraded equipment.Ensure compliance with safety standards and electrical regulations.Provide on-site technical support during events, VIP visits, and peak operational periods.Qualifications & ExperienceDiploma or Degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, IT, AV Technology, or related field.Minimum 5–8 years of experience in AV systems, exhibition technologies, or facility technical operations.Experience with interactive display systems and digital installations preferred.Disclaimer: The above positions are proposed for tendering and evaluation purposes only.
